Our Offer
EduPulse is available for all of your consulting, mentoring and coaching needs.
As a relatively new company, we are keen to work with partner schools and organisations on an extended trial basis with the view to ongoing partnerships.
At EduPulse, we know that commissioning external support in your school development requires careful and deep consideration. With a limited budget, it is essential that external support is not ‘off the shelf’ but is instead designed to meet your needs precisely. Because of that, the support we offer is never generic. We work with you for a unlimited period prior to the roll out of any support to ensure that what is going to be delivered is exactly what you want and that we have fully and accurately understood you and your school or trust. If we haven’t got it right, there is no obligation to roll out or pay for the service and we will of course be willing to work with you to continue to adapt and design the service so that it does meet your needs.

We offer three core types of services to schools, trusts and local authorities. These are: Developing, Providing and Writing.

Developing
We offer a consultancy service to support you in creating or improving your school or trust’s approach to teaching. We also offer support in developing leadership in your school at senior or middle level. Finally, we offer development support around your approach and design of Professional development.

Providing
We offer coaching for teams (middle leaders, department heads, trust leadership teams, governors. We also provide instructional coaching for individual or groups of teachers. Finally, we provide support for private sector businesses who want to learn about how to align their employee training programmes with evidence informed principles of learning to accelerate the productivity of teams.
Writing
We offer services to include the writing of curricula, courses (including bespoke professional development sequences around specific focus areas) and School development or evaluation forms. We also have the ability to conduct and write investigations for Stages of Complaints relating MATs and trust-wide groups.

All of our services come with a free one-hour consultation during which we will work to find out exactly what your needs are and where our help will have the greatest impact. Following your consultation, we will provide you with a proposed service plan, detailing exactly how we would intend to support you, the direction we would suggest you take and associated timescales. This plan is free for you to keep, whether you choose to take up one or more of our services or not.

What qualifies us to offer these services?

Our combined experience of over 30 years in education is the starting point of the support we offer. Uniquely, we are both still serving school leaders with classroom teaching responsibility. We have experience of delivering excellence with Adam’s school achieving outcomes that place them in the top 1% of the country in the 2022-23 academic year and Chris’s school registering their best ever set of results in 2023-24. Between us, we have experience of having supported upwards of twenty schools in the last two years alone with their own development projects across both the private and state sector. We are therefore well placed to understand what change feels like to those leading and teaching in schools.

We both hold Masters degrees in Educational leadership and are fellows of the Chartered college, Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Leadership. These fellowships are testament to our experience, commitment and expertise in education. Alongside this we also both sit on the Industry Advisory Board for the National Institute of Teaching and Education, a position that means we are the forefront of changes to the educational leadership landscape. Alongside our in-school roles, we are both serving governors and Chris is a serving Chair of. Adam holds an NPQH and is a qualified leadership coach with the Institute of Leadership for whom Chris was a judge at the prestigious Leadership awards in November 2024. Adam also holds Chartered Teacher status and Chris was the 2022 Teacher of the year. These awards and qualifications mark our commitment to educational excellence and to continually developing our own expertise so that we can have the wider impact in the sector that we want to have.

Adam has written and led the Curriculum Leaders course for PiXL, aimed at developing expert curriculum leadership and Chris has written and led training for independent school SENCO group. Between them, Adam and Chris are regular speakers at educational conferences and events including PiXL, Headteacher chat and universities including St. Mary’s Twickenham, Greenwich and York. Imminent speaking dates include ResearchEd conferences and StepUp network events.

Chris and Adam blog regularly about leadership and teaching challenges and have had published work in both Impact and Primary first journals. Their first book, Succeeding as a Deputy Head is due to be published by Bloomsbury in January 2026. Adam is also studying for a professional Doctorate and Chris combines his work for his school and EduPulse with his expert support for organisations within the music space.
Combining experience of both Primary and Secondary education across both the independent and state sectors, we are uniquely placed to support schools, whatever your context.

Fundamentally, our approach to the services we provide is driven by the fact that we are serving school leaders who are in touch with the educational research community and have a desire to spread the word of expert teaching and leadership, bridging the gaps between research, leadership and the classroom. With extensive experience and engagement with all three, we are uniquely placed to do just that.
